Toilet back ups are more common now than before. Before toilets held 2 1/2 gallons of water in the flush tank. Modern toilets now hold 1 1/2 gallons of water in the flush tank. When flushing your modern toilet I recommend holding the handle down for a few seconds to allow more water into the bowl. This will allow the toilet to flush better. Modern toilets do not like it when you flick the handle down and walk away. Because there are so many different types of toilet paper now a days modern toilets seem to have a problem with them. This is because of the change in the amount of water in the flush tank. This is why I recommend you hold the handle down and don’t just flick it and walk away.
